Was it a hitler move?
What the United States did looked like what Hitler did. Just how Hitler saw the Jews as a threat, the United States saw the Japanese Americans as a threat. The u.s thought it was smart to put them in their own zone. This sounds like how Hitler moved the Jews into ghettos.
Moving on out?
In the mix of World War 2, the government ordered 120,000 Japanese-Americans on the West coast to leave their homes and live in 10 relocation camps. These were in remote areas, surrounded by barbed wire and armed guards. Most of the Japanese that were ordered to move out were actually born in America.(digitalhistory)
Decisions
In 1942 President Roosevelt ordered the internment of interment. More than 120,000 legal and illegal citizens were effected by that days decision.Eventually we saw the effects and tolls it took. These acts were seen as in humane. By January 1946 the last camp was closed. In 1988 the finally apologized for their wrongfull acts. We gave compensation to those who were interned. The U.S created an education fund to teach the kids the lessons of our shameful acts.
