Cold Blood Killing
The Holocaust was the extermination of about 6,000,000 Jews. Hitler Used cruel tactics of killing the Jew. He also experimented on them. He favored experimenting on the Jewish twins. He wanted to duplicate the genes of twins.
The Holocaust began in 1933 as Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. The term Holocaust came from the Greek word "holokauston" which is "sacrifice by fire," . This relates to how the Jews were burned in the furnaces. Hitler,s targeted gypsies, homosexuals,,and the disabled for death. People who denied Hitlers' ways were also sent to these camps. Hitler used a term called "Final Solution" which was the killing of Jews.
Jews were forced out of there homes and placed into ghettos. These were special living centers for them. They had now been on the lowest of low in Germany's social stature. Out of the extermination camps Auschwitz was the largest concentration and extermination camp. More than 1.1 million people were killed at Auschwitz. The Holocaust ended in 1945 when the Nazis were defeated by the Allied powers.
